By Zaki Salleh

IPOH: The Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD Ipoh), in collaboration with the Social Security Organization (Perkeso) of Perak, engaged with 30 food delivery riders in an advocacy program.

Held at the Kampung Rapat Police Station, the program aimed to provide exposure and raise awareness about adherence to traffic rules and regulations.

The goal was to ensure the safety of the riders and all road users.

Reminders, advice, and correct and safe driving techniques were provided face-to-face to the participants.

At the same time, they were informed about the benefits they could claim as contributors if they registered with Perkeso.

Given the risks of danger and accidents on the road, it is crucial for p-hailing workers to understand these benefits.

The program was attended by Perkeso Perak Director V Mohanadas; Ipoh District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Chief, Deputy Superintendent Nor Azman Paimin; and Kampung Rapat Police Station Chief, Inspector Muhammad Noor Asyraf Hisham.

Also present were Gopeng Member of Parliament Tar Kar Hing and Simpang Pulai Assemblyman Wong Chai Yi.
