The Education Welfare Research Foundation (EWRF) Malaysia held a meeting on 24 August at the Royal Ipoh Club, whereby the Northern Region Branch Leaders, Centre Leaders and members met for a brainstorming session for new strategies to reach out to Indian students in Perak.
Organised by EWRF Headquarters and hosted by the EWRF Ipoh Branch and presided by the EWRF Ipoh Branch Chairman and EWRF National Vice President Mr Sylverster Dhas and members of his committee, the meeting was officiated by EWRF National President, Mr Muthamil and attended by EWRF Deputy President Mr. Jeya Kumar, EWRF National General Secretary Dr. Chitra, EWRF National Deputy General Secretary Dr. Loga and leaders of branches from Sg. Petani, Sg Siput, Bayan Lepas, Manjung, Ipoh and Teluk Intan.
The brainstorming session focused on the art of effective study habits for Indian students, where they acknowledged that in today’s competitive world, academic success isn’t solely achieved via innate intelligence but also through strategies employed and the habits practiced. For Indian students in particular, it’s essential to develop and maintain effective study habits in order to excel. Therefore, the EWRF Team should explore what are some of the most impactful study habits that can be employed in order to achieve their role in boosting success among the Indian Students.
