Nur Akila Missing After Going Out to Buy Bread

IPOH: The police are seeking public assistance to locate a 17-year-old young woman reported missing since August 19.

According to Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad, the missing person, Nur Akila Mohammad Rafi Kumar, resides at No. 17, Hala Bercham Timur 4, Taman Pakatan.

He said she was last seen at her home when she asked her mother for permission to buy bread at a nearby grocery store.

“According to her mother, she left through the back door to buy bread and has not returned since.

“According to investigations and inquiries at the grocery store, they said they did not see her there.

“There was no known disagreement between the missing person and her family, her mother filed the police report regarding her disappearance,” he said in a statement here today.

Abang Zainal Abidin mentioned that Nur Akila was last seen wearing a T-shirt and black slack pants.

Nur Akila has a medium-brown complexion, is slim, weighs about 50 kilograms, is 170 cm tall, and has shoulder-length hair.

He added that any information regarding the young woman can be directed to the case officer, Sergeant Mohamad Azlan Mohd Noor, at 019-5141791 or 05-2451500.

The public can also go to the nearest police station for this purpose.
