The Salvation Army Ipoh Open Day Charity Sale falls on 7th September
The Ipoh Salvation Army Charity sale is coming! The Salvation Army Ipoh will hold its annual charity sale to raise funds at The Salvation Army Ipoh Children’s Home located at Kampar Road on September 7 (Saturday) from 9am to 1pm.
Recently, Lee Kong Yee, chairman of the organising committee, announced at the stallholders’ meeting, “Currently, 104 stalls have been convened to sell a variety of food, drinks and dry food. In addition, there will be exciting performances, game stalls, art stalls, etc. on the day. About 70% of the coupons have been sold. We hope that more people will come to the charity sale.”
“On the day of the event, we are also honoured to invite the Ipoh Timor Member of Parliament – YB Howard Lee, ADUN of Pasir Pinji, YB Goh See Hua and the Director of the Perak Welfare Department to attend the opening ceremony and preside over the ribbon-cutting ceremony.”
“We hope to raise RM200,000 in working capital through this charity sale to help us provide quality care and education to about 80 children and the elderly. The public can also purchase coupons or make donations on the day. All donations are tax deductible.”
