The “School of Hope – KidStart Junior Bazaar” event was held from 8 am to 3 pm at Seri Botani International School yesterday. The event’s main attraction were the various stalls set up and operated by children, aged six to twelve.
These stalls offered products, such as food or fashionable accessories, which were developed by the children themselves. The children interacted with customers, thus cultivating their entrepreneurial skills and teaching them about financial responsibility.
Scores of stalls were set up on the grounds of Seri Botani International School, while additional activities and showcases were held in the school’s hall.
From showcases of environmentally friendly products from ReadyCare and free health screenings to mind mapping and dance competitions, there was plenty to do throughout the day.
