TAPAH: The Fourth Battalion of the Royal Malay Regiment (4 RAMD) here recently conducted a Youth Leadership Program for students of Sekolah Kebangsaan Simpang Empat, Bagan Datuk.
The two-day program, which took place at the military camp, involved 70 students and 10 teachers from the school.
The program focused on character development modules, targeting the involvement of students who are expected to become leaders within their school.
Additionally, the program provided students with the opportunity to experience military daily routines and gain basic exposure to military knowledge.
Various activities were held, including camp orientation, ice-breaking sessions, obstacle courses, jungle trekking, basic survival knowledge, log relay, and night reconnaissance.
A health screening was also conducted before the program to ensure that only healthy students participated in the SK Simpang Empat Youth Leadership Program.
Religious programs and spiritual talks were also held to provide students with a boost in spiritual growth.
The closing ceremony was officiated by the Commanding Officer, Lt Col Nor Hezri Hamzah, who presented awards to students who displayed strong leadership qualities, and self-confidence, and to the best-performing platoon.
