IPOH: A house, a tent equipment storage, and four motorcycles were destroyed in a fire on Pesiaran Murni 6, Taman Indah, Tanjung Rambutan, here today.
According to Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, Assistant Director of the Operations Division at the Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), they received an emergency call at 2:03 PM.
Subsequently, 14 personnel from the Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.
“The fire involved a Class C house with a size of 20×30 feet, which was 90 percent destroyed.
“Also burned was a Class C storage building, measuring 15×15 feet, which was used to store tent equipment. Additionally, four motorcycles were destroyed,” he said in a statement here today.
He added that the fire was extinguished, and the operation was completed at 4:42 PM.
