BAGAN DATUK: The Bagan Datuk District Police Headquarters has welcomed a new Deputy Chief of Police as Deputy Superintendent (DSP) Azhar Abu Hashim takes up the position.
He succeeds Assistant Superintendent Mohd Sabri Abdullah, who served as the acting Deputy Chief of Police for the District.
Prior to this appointment, DSP Azhar was the Head of the District Management Division at the Selama District Police Headquarters since 2020.
The handover ceremony took place at Dinie Inn, Batu 8, Hutan Melintang.
During the ceremony, both officers signed the handover documents, with the transfer witnessed by the Chief of Police for Bagan Datuk, Superintendent Mohammad Ali Mohd Jali.
All members of the Bagan Datuk District Police Headquarters extend their congratulations and best wishes to DSP Azhar.
Also present at the ceremony were division heads, police station chiefs, and other officers.
