SERI ISKANDAR : More than 60 leading companies from diverse industries gathered in the annual Technology, Education & Career (TEC) 2024 fair at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP) here.
The career exhibition featured leading industry players such as PETRONAS, ExxonMobil, SLB, Deloitte, and Huawei.
TEC24 offered a unique platform for students and professionals to explore career paths, seek advice, network with potential employers, and gain valuable insights into the job market.
Themed ‘Unveiling Hidden Talents’, TEC24 provided a space for future graduates to showcase their skills and connect directly with potential employers.
Attendees had the opportunity to learn about their potential opportunities through insightful talks, discussions, and workshops designed to help them define their future career paths.
TEC24 further equipped students with essential career skills through free services such as resume clinics, mock interview sessions, and a LinkedIn clinic.
With the support of over 60 leading companies and the guidance of industry experts, attendees gained valuable insights and practical skills to prepare for their professional journeys.
TEC24 reaffirms UTP’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded global talent, fostering collaborations between industry and academia, and enhancing academic and professional opportunities for students.
Previously, TEC24 was officiated by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Datuk Ts Mustapha Sakmud.
Also present at the event were Higher Education Director General Datuk Professor Dr Azlinda Azman and UTP Vice Chancellor Professor Dato’ Ir Ts Dr Mohamed Ibrahim Abdul Mutalib.
