PENGKALAN HULU: Zulkepli Ibrahim, the District Police Chief of Pengkalan Hulu, has been promoted from Deputy Superintendent (DSP) to Superintendent, retaining the same position.
This promotion follows the directive for the transfer of senior officers in the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), which upgraded the rank of the District Police Chief of Pengkalan Hulu to Superintendent.
A new position of Deputy District Police Chief of Pengkalan Hulu, also at the DSP rank, has been created.
Zulkepli has served as the District Police Chief of Pengkalan Hulu since April 2019.
The promotion ceremony was officiated by the Chief of Police of Perak, Datuk Azizi Mat Aris.
Additionally, DSP Mohd Rozaini Md Rodzi has also been promoted to Deputy District Police Chief of Manjung with the rank of Superintendent.
Mohd Rozaini is the D4 Officer in the Criminal Investigation Department of the Perak Police Headquarters.
