IPOH – In conjunction with the Deepavali celebration, members of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) Perak chapter, including Dr Ch’ng, Dr Phan, and Dr Gregory, visited the paediatric ward at Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH).
The visit was marked by the distribution of Deepavali-themed gifts to young patients.
Nicholas Chan, CEO of PCSH, stated that the initiative aimed to uplift the festive spirit among young patients while fostering goodwill.
“The joy on their faces is evident. It shows that small efforts can bring happiness to patients. Patient care involves not only medical treatment but also prioritising their emotional well-being.
“This reflects our commitment to providing quality and affordable healthcare for all.
“PCSH extends its appreciation to MMA members for their dedication and concern in spreading Deepavali cheer to young patients. We hope to continue this tradition to provide sweet experiences for children during their treatment at PCSH,” he said.
