213 Receive Honors and Medals in Conjunction with the 68th Birthday of the Sultan of Pera

IPOH: The Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, Tan Sri Syed Danial Syed Ahmad, leads the list of 213 recipients of honors and medals from the State of Perak in conjunction with the 68th birthday celebration of the Sultan of Perak, Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah.

He has been awarded the Darjah Dato’ Seri Paduka Mahkota Perak (SPMP), which carries the title of Dato’ Seri.

Also receiving the same honor are the Auditor General, Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi, and the Executive Chairman of Yee Lee Corporation, Dato’ Lim Kok Cheong @ Lim A Heng.

Following them, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Economy, Dato’ Nor Azmie Diron, received the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini (DPCM), which carries the title of Dato’.

Meanwhile, the Darjah Dato’ Paduka Mahkota Perak (DPMP), which also carries the title of Dato’, was awarded to eight recipients.

Six individuals will receive the Darjah Dato’ Pahlawan Taming Sari (DPTS), which carries the title of Dato’ Pahlawan.

Among them are the Director of the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department of PDRM, Dato’ Sri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri, and the Director of the Special Branch of PDRM, Dato’ Sri Mohd Khalid Ismail.

Additionally, 13 recipients have been awarded the Darjah Paduka Cura Si Manja Kini, with 28 receiving the Darjah Paduka Mahkota Perak, 14 the Darjah Ahli Cura Si Manja Kini, 39 the Darjah Ahli Mahkota Perak, 61 the Pingat Pekerti Terpilih, and 10 the Pingat Lama Perkhidmatan.

Furthermore, Orang Kaya Bendahara Seri Maharaja General (Rtd) Dato’ Seri DiRaja Tan Sri (Dr.) Mohd Zahidi Zainuddin announced that the award ceremony for the honors and medals from the State of Perak will be held in two sessions on November 9 and November 16 at the Balairong Seri, Istana Iskandariah, Kuala Kangsar.

In addition, His Majesty has also consented to fund meals for 7,800 inmates and detainees currently serving sentences in prisons and rehabilitation centers in the state.

The people of Perak are also urged to celebrate and enhance the occasion by displaying the state flag on their office buildings, businesses, and residences.
