LARUT: A man broke both legs, while two others were injured, when a wedding canopy they were sheltering under was struck by a falling palm tree on Jalan Kampung Sungai, Selama, today.
According to the Assistant Director of Operations for Perak Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the incident occurred around 1:44 p.m. during heavy rain and storms.
The severely injured victim was handed over to the Ministry of Health for further treatment.
