More than 300 senior officers and members of the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) attended a special high-tea gathering for Perak Police Chief Datuk Azizi Mat Aris and PDRM Perak staff, held at Galasa Caldwell.
This special event was organized to honour Azizi’s retirement as the Perak Police Chief.
Also in attendance were his wife, Datin Hajah Wanita Wari, who chairs the Perak PERKEP (Police Family Association) contingent, and Deputy Perak Police Chief DCP Zulkafli Sariaat.
During the event, a biography titled Dari Desa Ke Mercu Kuasa (From Village to Pinnacle of Power) was launched, chronicling Azizi’s life and achievements throughout his service.
As a gesture of gratitude, Azizi presented the book to senior IPK Perak officers and other police officials.
Azizi, a native of Kati, Kuala Kangsar, took over the role of Perak Police Chief in July, succeeding Datuk Seri Mohd Yusri Hassan Basri. Before this, he had served as Deputy Perak Police Chief since November 8, 2021.
