MBI, Media Share Ideas to Promote Ipoh Tourism in Hatyai

IPOH: The potential for collaboration in promoting Ipoh’s tourism was explored during an idea-sharing session held as part of the Ipoh City Council’s official visit to Hatyai, Thailand.

The session was conducted through the Perak and Southern Thailand Media Muhibbah Council.

This program aims to promote the tourism industry in both directions.

A total of 20 media practitioners from various agencies in Perak, along with senior management from MBI, participated in the visit.

Also participating was the Senator for Songkhla Province and President of the Southern Thailand Media Association, Chaiyong Maneerungsakul.

Representing the Mayor of Ipoh was the Chairman of the MBI Sub-Committee for Information and Media, Muhammad Hamzah Dato’ Haji Md Hamdan.

Joining the session was the President of the Perak Sports & Welfare Media Club, Rosli Mansor, who is also the Chief Editor of Ipoh Echo / Peraktastic.

Through this platform, media partners were able to share ideas and discuss various aspects of improvement to further strengthen the tourism industry in their respective countries.

Furthermore, such programs help strengthen cooperative ties and foster closer relationships by sharing knowledge and experiences between the two cities.

This relationship also promotes mutual understanding and friendship, while expanding opportunities in various fields, especially media, broadcasting, and tourism.
