IPOH: Over 200 local residents attended the celebration of Sathya Sai Baba’s birth organized by the Sathya Sai Baba Center here.
The event included activities such as health check-ups and a coloring competition for children.
It involved students from Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan (T) Changkat, Sekolah Jenis Kebangsaan Heawood, and Sekolah Rendah Kebangsaan Methodist.
Sungai Siput Member of Parliament, S. Kesavan, was the honored guest at the event.
He was very excited and pleased to see the success of the event, particularly the involvement of primary school students.
He said that community programs like this are highly welcomed as they help strengthen relationships within the community.
Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Sathya Sai Baba Center, Kamalam Panikar, expressed gratitude to all those involved in making the event a success.
She mentioned that the Sathya Sai Baba Center regularly organizes many activities that benefit the community.
