IPOH: Five police stations under the Ipoh District Police Headquarters (IPD) have new station heads following the transfer of the previous officeholders.
The handover ceremony was held at the main meeting room of the IPD Ipoh, witnessed by Ipoh District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad.
The stations involved are Kampung Baru, Kampung Tawas, Sungai Senam, Simpang Pulai, and Pekan Baru Ipoh.
Inspector (Insp) N. Ganesan took over as the head of Kampung Baru Police Station from Assistant Superintendent Mohd Hasbullah Hassan.
Insp Nor Syaheeda Ahmad succeeded Insp Mohd Zafril Kamarozaman as the head of Kampung Tawas Police Station.
Sungai Senam Police Station saw the transfer of responsibility from Insp Mohd Al Shukri Nasir to Insp Ishak Jumain.
Insp Tai Zhe Jin now leads Simpang Pulai Police Station, while Insp Azrene Shazwani Abd Manap takes charge of Pekan Baru Police Station.
Also present at the ceremony were the Deputy Ipoh District Police Chief (Operations), Superintendent Mohamad Sajidan Abdul Sukor, department heads, station chiefs, and senior officers of the Ipoh District Police Headquarters.
