IPOH: Perak FC has lost its General Manager as the current holder, Neow Choo Seong, will step down from the position effective January 1, 2025.
He shared this news with Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic through his Facebook page.
“With a heavy heart, I would like to announce that I do not intend to extend my service as General Manager and will also resign from my position as Director with Perak Football Club.
“Since my involvement with Perak FC in 2023, my responsibilities and focus have been solely on the development of young talents at the grassroots level,” he stated.
Neow mentioned that in 2023, Perak FC successfully reached various districts in Perak through various development programs and talent scouting.
Among the programs were the District Training Centres (DTC), Grassroots Playday Festival, Piala Cheetah, and Piala XOX.
This was made possible through close cooperation and support from the Perak State Government, JPN Perak, PPD, and all the schools involved.
“Earlier this year, we also established the Perak FC Football Academy to train young talents under the age of 15.
“This team recently became the Plate category champion in the B-12 International Invitational Tournament.
“This is the result of the players’ dedication and the well-structured training module developed by Coach Raja Azlan and the coaches who have sacrificed much time and energy,” he added.
However, he will always pray for the best and remain with the supporters and team of Perak FC.
