IPOH: The Commercial Criminal Investigation Department at the Perak Police Contingent Headquarters has a new head as the responsibility has been handed over to Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan Abdullah.
He took on this role from the acting head, Superintendent Mohd Ridzuan Nor Ihsan, who is also the Deputy Head of Commercial Criminal Investigation (Investigation/Legal).
Prior to this, Mohd Fahmi Visuvanathan served as the Deputy Head of the Perak Crime Prevention and Community Safety Department (Strategic Planning).
The handover ceremony took place at the Main Meeting Room of the Perak Police Contingent Headquarters and was witnessed by the Acting Perak Police Chief, DCP Zulkafli Sariaat.
The same ceremony also saw the promotion of police officers from the rank of Inspector to Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP).
The officers promoted were ASP Meor Ahmad Fadli Azwan Tupandi; ASP Dr. N Nalini ; ASP Ishak Jumain; ASP Noor Azlan Zaidin; ASP Mohd Anuar Kamaruddin; ASP Khairul Pazaer; and ASP Mohd Suhaidi Mohd Kia.
Meanwhile, at the Ipoh District Police Headquarters, a handover ceremony was held for the position of Chief of Sungai Senam Police Station.
ASP Ishak Jumain handed over the duties to Sergeant Major M Balasundram , witnessed by the Ipoh District Police Chief, ACP Abang Zainal Abidin Abang Ahmad.
