Firefighters open locked door to recover deceased man in Taiping

TAIPING: Firefighters were forced to open the door of a locked house to remove a 45-year-old man who had passed away on Aulong Road, Kampung Boyan, here.

According to Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, the Assistant Director of the Operations Division of the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (JBPM) Perak, the emergency call was received at 1:42 PM on Monday.

The deceased was identified as Santhekasakar a/l Sinniah.

He added that firefighters from the Taiping Fire and Rescue Station arrived at the scene at 1:55 PM.

“There was a male victim of Indian descent found dead inside a locked house.

“Firefighters used special equipment to open the door, witnessed by the police.

“The body was then handed over to the police for further action,” he said here today.
