Yayasan Ipoh held their Staff Appreciation Night on the 28th of December 2024. This annual event, titled “Night of the Star: Bollywood Glamz”, was held at the Symphony Suites Hotel to celebrate the dedication of all the staff at Yayasan Ipoh (YI), in conjunction with the end of 2024 and ushering in 2025.
The board of YI expressed their great gratitude to the staff, whose exemplary work has made YI’s service to the community possible.
They also expressed excitement with the partnership between Klinik Ng and Singh, which will help YI to provide further service to the community, at affordable prices.
Dato’ Dr. Ramanathan, CEO of Yayasan Ipoh also expressed his thanks to the staff of YI, and notes that their staff are 70% Malays, and consisted of people from a variety of backgrounds, including Hindus, Christians and Muslims. And in fact, the decorations for all their festive events are done by the Malay staff. This was regardless of whichever race the holiday represented. Everyone worked together.
It was a night to remember with everyone dressed up in colourful attire, befitting of the glamour of Bollywood, with a fashion contest, dance presentation and live musical performances to hype up everyone into a festive mood.
Yayasan Ipoh (YI) was set up in 1982 to help those with disabilities. The purpose of this foundation is to raise funds to support the rehabilitation services of its therapy arm, Persatuan Pemulihan Sultan Azlan Shah. Your tax deductible donation will be channelled to Yayasan Ipoh.
