LARUT: The activities of a trader who was selling subsidized 1-kilogram (kg) packets of cooking oil only to certain individuals at a premises near Batu Kurau were finally uncovered through Ops Tiris 3.0.

“Based on the information, a test purchase was carried out, and the premises staff informed that the 1kg packets of cooking oil had been sold out.
“Suspicious of this response, officers and enforcement personnel from KPDN Perak’s Taiping branch conducted a further inspection and found 140 kg of 1kg cooking oil packets stored in the goods storage room.
“As a result, all 140 kg of 1kg cooking oil packets, along with several related documents, were seized.
