Yayasan Ipoh and Persatuan Pemulihan Sultan Azlan Shah will be organising a symposium on Child Safety and Protection on Saturday, 15th February 2025, from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Yayasan Ipoh Convention Centre, Bercham, Ipoh.
In today’s world, protecting our children is more important than ever. This symposium will provide valuable insights and knowledge from leading experts on child safety and protection. Such as a keynote speech by Datin Wong Poi Hong; who is a renowned expert on child protection. She will deliver a keynote speech on the importance of child safety and the role of various stakeholders.
There will also be a panel of experts from the Welfare Department, Health Ministry, and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO), who will discuss current challenges, best practices, and future directions in child protection.
Hear from representatives of the Welfare Department (JKM), Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM), and the Ministry of Health (MOH) on their roles and initiatives in child safety. Not to mention, there will be an interactive session with experts to be moderated by Puan Amy Bala, who will lead fellow attendees through interactive discussions and a Questions and Answers (Q&A) session.
