Two injured, Perodua Myvi crashes into ravine

TAPAH: Two people were injured after the Perodua Myvi they were in skidded and fell into a ravine at Batu 7, Jalan Pahang, here today.

Sabarodzi Nor Ahmad, Assistant Director of the Operations Division of the Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) Perak, said that the victims, a 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were rescued by passersby before the fire department arrived.

He said the incident occurred around 11:11 AM, and personnel from the Tapah Fire and Rescue Station were dispatched to the scene.

“The operation commander instructed the team to monitor the area around the incident site.

“After confirming that there were no other immediate dangers, the team, along with the vehicle, returned to the station,” he said here today.

The operation, involving 10 personnel, concluded at 11:41 AM.
