TAIPING: The winners of the ‘Indahnya Taiping 2024’ Photography Contest were finally revealed, with four lucky individuals announced as the winners.
First place went to Ong Eng Keat, who received a cash prize of RM1,000, along with a trophy,, and a certificate of appreciation.
The winner also received sponsored prizes, including an OM System Tough Camera and a Canon Selphy CP1500 Printer.
Second place was awarded to Marwan Murshid, who took home RM700 in cash, a Canon Pixma TS707A printer, a trophy, and a certificate of appreciation.
Third place went to Mohammad Saiful Samsudin, who received RM500 in cash, a Tenba (USA Brand) Camera Bag, Canon exclusive merchandise, a trophy, and a certificate of appreciation.
Five consolation prize winners were Mohd Samsi Sumairi, Ong Wan Choon, Soo Kai Oon, Tan Tiang Chin, and Wee Gek Sim. Each received RM200 in cash and a certificate of appreciation.
The Taiping Municipal Council, in collaboration with the Nature Ecosystem Sustainability Association (NEST), organized the contest as part of the ‘Taiping Bird Week’ program at the Taiping Zoo Pavilion last December.
