Savour the Flavors of ‘Syurga Rasa Ramadan’ at Hotel Casuarina@Meru

IPOH – Hotel Casuarina@Meru is set to welcome the holy month with its signature Ramadan buffet, ‘Syurga Rasa Ramadan,’ featuring over 100 traditional Malaysian dishes from March 2 to March 28, 2025.
Executive Chef Muhammad Fariz Abdul Lateh highlighted some must-try offerings, including Roasted Kibas (lamb), Bubur Lambuk with Lamb Bones, and Pandan Roasted Chicken.
“Our ‘warung-style stations’ will serve a variety of hot dishes such as Chicken Shawarma, Pasembur, Nasi Mandy with Dalca Sayur Tulang Kibas, and an assortment of traditional kuih,” he said during the Ramadan buffet preview at the hotel on Thursday.
The buffet at the Casuarina Convention Centre can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. It also features air-conditioned prayer rooms, an imam-led Tarawih prayer, and ample free parking.
“As guests indulge in a spread of flavours ranging from traditional to contemporary, they will also be entertained by live busker performances,” he added.
Meanwhile, General Manager Sabrina Ahmad Tah said the hotel aims to offer an iftar experience that is not just about dining but also about fostering family togetherness.
“The buffet is priced at RM88 per adult, RM85 for senior citizens, and RM58 for children. Guests who purchase early bird vouchers before February 25, 2025, can enjoy a special rate of RM80 per adult,” she said.
She added that the hotel is also offering two stay-and-dine packages: the Barakah Package (RM358 per night, inclusive of ‘sahur’ and iftar for two) and the Sinar Ramadan Package (RM200 per night, inclusive of sahur for two).
