Upgrading of Pinji Health Clinic almost complete

By Zaki Salleh

IPOH: The upgrading works at the Pasir Pinji Health Clinic, funded by the Member of Parliament for Ipoh Timor, is nearly 90% complete.

The upgrading project was funded through the Ipoh Timor Parliamentary People-Friendly Project (PMR) last year, with RM300,000 allocated for the work.

The project includes the expansion of the patient waiting area, a more comfortable emergency unit, a registration counter, and additional facilities for medical officer rooms.

Ipoh Timor Member of Parliament, Howard Lee, stated that the upgrade is necessary to provide better comfort for patients receiving services at the clinic.

“Given the growing number of patients visiting the clinic and the limited space before, this upgrade will address those concerns.

“The expected completion of the building upgrade is by early next month,” he said.

Once completed, the upgraded clinic will provide better services for visitors seeking healthcare.
