MANJUNG: Unity brings prosperity.
A strong sense of community fosters harmony and mutual support, as demonstrated by the residents of Rumah Pangsa Taman Emas, Kampung Cina, Sitiawan, who recently organized a communal gotong-royong cleanup.
The initiative aimed to clear bulk waste irresponsibly discarded by certain individuals; ensuring a cleaner and safer living environment.
The programme was spearheaded by the Commissioner of Buildings (COB) Unit of the Manjung Municipal Council (MPM) in collaboration with the Local Councillor’s Committee (JKP) and Zone 11 Councillor Ding Hoon Wee.
Residents actively participated alongside the Environmental Health and Urban Services Department (Zone 2) of MPM, showing a shared responsibility for their surroundings.
While maintaining a communal spirit through such activities is not always easy, a culture of cooperation, tolerance, and accountability among flat residents helps strengthen unity.
By working together, the community ensures their strata housing environment remains safe, clean, and pleasant for all.
