Travelodge Ipoh’s Iftar Buffet Brings Traditional Flavours from Three States

IPOH—Travelodge Hotel Ipoh will offer a special iftar buffet, Selera Warisan Desa, featuring authentic flavours from three states: Perak, Melaka, and Penang. The buffet will be available at The Atrium Restaurant from 7 PM to 10 PM from March 7 to March 27, 2025.
It is priced at RM79 nett per adult and RM64 nett for children and senior citizens.
According to Chef Muhammad Asyraf Anuar, who has over 10 years of culinary experience, the buffet will feature more than 80 dishes, rotating across three menus throughout Ramadan.
“Our signature dishes include Fish Head Curry, Grilled Lamb, Nasi Arab, Kari Daging Gulai Kawah, and Stingray Asam Pedas, along with various local salads and traditional Malay kuih.
“Our Fish Head Curry and Kari Daging Gulai Kawah are prepared with a unique blend of spices, delivering an irresistible aroma and rich flavours,” he said.
Guests can also enjoy Penang’s Mamak-style curries and authentic Melaka dishes, such as stingray asam pedas. Traditional Perak delicacies will also be available, including sotong masak lemak, ayam masak rose, and various kerabu.
“The buffet also highlights Middle Eastern cuisine, such as Nasi Arab paired with Grilled Lamb.
“The lamb is marinated with over 20 spices and left overnight to ensure tender, juicy meat with a fragrant aroma and no gamey taste,” he added.

4-to-go Package: This package includes sahur, a one-night stay in a Friends and Family Quadruple Room, and an iftar buffet for four for RM851+.
