IPOH: Three new district police chiefs have been appointed in Perak, covering the Hilir Perak, Sungai Siput, and Tapah districts.
Assistant Commissioner (ACP) Dr. Bakri Zainal Abidin took over as the District Police Chief of Hilir Perak from Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) Ahmad Adnan Basri.
Next, the handover of duties for the District Police Chief of Tapah was conducted between ACP Mohd Naim Asnawi and DSP Mohd Fadzil Ismail, who is the Deputy District Police Chief of Tapah.
Following that, the handover for the District Police Chief of Sungai Siput (U) took place between Superintendent Mohd Khaizam Ahmad Shahabudin and DSP Mohd Rohaizimi Razali.
The ceremony was witnessed by the Perak Police Chief, Dato’ Noor Hisam Nordin.
Also completed was the promotion of ACP Zairulnizam Mohd Zainuddin to the rank of Senior Assistant Commissioner (SAC) as the Head of the Internal Security and Public Order Department for the Perak Contingent.
It is hoped that the arrival of the new leadership in PDRM Perak will inspire a stronger commitment to improving service quality to the community.
