The Jom Iftar, Citarasa Excelsior, Buffet Dinner offers a delightful spread of kampung-style dishes alongside a variety of multicultural flavours, ensuring a satisfying dining experience for all guests.

Held at Dulang Coffee House on the ground floor, the buffet runs from March 7 to 30, 2025, from 6.30pm to 10.00pm.

With over 100 dishes served on a rotating basis in six different sets, guests can look forward to a diverse and exciting selection each night.

A Culinary Touch by an Experienced Chef

Executive Chef Faizul Yusof, 63, a proud Ipoh native with over 30 years of culinary experience, ensures that the buffet showcases 20 signature main courses daily, all crafted from traditional Malay recipes that promise to tantalise the taste buds.

Signature highlights include Gulai Patin Tempoyak, Telur Masak Pindang, Sayur Keladi Masak Masam, Ikan Pari Kari with Eggplant, Ayam Rendang Pedas, and Ayam Bakar Black Pepper & Demi Glace.

No iftar experience would be complete without satay, a perennial favourite, which is also available alongside international selections such as Butter Prawns, Grilled Lamb Shoulder, Loh Hon Chai, Aloo Gobi, and Ayam Varuval, adding variety to the feast.

A Complete Iftar Experience

For those who enjoy traditional appetisers, an array of fresh ulam-ulaman (local herbs and greens) served with special sambals is available, along with an assortment of kerabu (local salads) and traditional porridges, further enriching the breaking fast experience at Hotel Excelsior.
