SMK Methodist (ACS) Ipoh hosted its annual Cross Country Championship on 22 February, bringing together students, teachers, and staff in a spirited celebration of sportsmanship and endurance.
Attending the event was Mr. Daniel Devadas, representing the Board of Governors.
The event, which began with the singing of the national anthem and followed with an aerobics session to warm up the participants, saw the runners set off to complete a 5 kilometer course as friends and teachers cheered them on, in support and encouragement at designated checkpoints, all along the course.
The organising committee and volunteers made sure the event went smoothly by guiding the runners and ensuring their safety throughout the race. Participants were also given light refreshments after the race to cool down and hydrate themselves.
Horley Sport house emerged as champion with the highest score of 199, followed by Oldham at 166, ETS at 163, Aziz at 154 and Tagore at 136.
