BATU GAJAH: The Batu Gajah District Council (MDBG) has conducted stray dog capture operations in three locations following complaints from residents about disturbances and potential health risks posed by the animals.
In a statement, MDBG said that a total of seven stray dogs were successfully captured during the operation, which aimed to create a safer and more harmonious environment.
“The locations targeted were Taman Pusing Delima, Taman Bemban Indah, and Sungai Bemban.
“This initiative aims to mitigate disturbances and reduce the risk of disease transmission associated with stray dogs. We hope that this swift action will contribute to a cleaner, safer, and more peaceful environment for the local community,” the statement read.
The council also reaffirmed its commitment to tackling the issue of stray animals as part of its ongoing efforts to safeguard public health and well-being.
