IPOH: Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh, located in Bandar Sunway here, will begin operations on April 2.
The modern hospital, built on a three-acre site, was developed with an investment of RM400 million.
The opening of the hospital aligns with the vision to provide quality facilities and services to enhance the quality of life for the people of Ipoh.
Yesterday, the Mayor of Ipoh, Dato Rumaizi Baharin@Md Daud, conducted a working visit to the site.
The visit aimed to inspect the healthcare facilities and other amenities available at Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh.
Also present were the President of Sunway Healthcare Group, Dato’ Lau Beng Long, and the Chief Executive Officer of Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh, Choy Wah Wei.
In his speech at the event, Rumaizi welcomed the opening of the hospital, which will offer advanced healthcare facilities and benefit the residents of Ipoh city.
He mentioned that the development of Sunway Medical Centre Ipoh will certainly benefit the community, providing access to world-class medical treatment. It will offer high-quality medical expertise, improve the standard of healthcare in the city, and reduce the need for residents to seek treatment outside of Ipoh.
