SERI ISKANDAR: UiTM Perak Seri Iskandar Campus strengthens its international network through a strategic collaboration with Telkom University, Bandung, Indonesia.
This collaboration is part of the Program Review III of Final Year Students’ Works for the Bachelor of Graphic Design (Honours), Faculty of Creative Arts.
The program aims to showcase students’ talents and introduce an international-level evaluation, focusing on corporate design.
This collaboration provides students the opportunity to gain insight into the latest trends in the design industry in Indonesia, a country known for its innovation and unique design creativity.
A total of 11 students participated in the evaluation session, sharing their ideas and innovations related to their respective annual projects.
The Faculty Coordinator of the Graphic and Digital Media Department at UiTM Perak’s Faculty of Creative Arts, Ahmad Sofiyuddin Mohd Shuib, mentioned that lecturers from Telkom University and two industry experts were appointed as international and industry evaluators.
“With all these evaluators, students received constructive feedback from a global perspective, enabling them to evaluate their creative works based on the current needs and demands of the industry,” he said.
The students’ projects involved key elements such as logo design, visual identity, and corporate communication strategies, which are expected to meet the demands of the current graphic design industry.
This collaboration opens up opportunities for students to understand international standards in the creative industry.
Through feedback and perspectives from international evaluators, students can improve their work and gain confidence in producing competitive projects at a global level.
