BATU GAJAH: Yayasan Perak has fulfilled the wishes of night market vendor, Zaharuddin Salehuddin, 49, by providing him with a new home under the Sayangi Rumahku (Build New) Program.

The program aims to provide more comfortable and safer homes for families in need.

Zaharuddin, along with his wife and three school-going children, previously lived in a rented house.

Their original home in Kampung Seri Mariah, Batu Gajah, was an old ancestral house that had become too dilapidated and unsafe to live in.

This new home offers comfort and security for Zaharuddin and his family to continue their lives in a better environment.

With the support of Yayasan Perak, the old ancestral home has now been replaced with a new, safer, and more comfortable house.

The Sayangi Rumahku (Build New) program is an initiative by Yayasan Perak to assist the less fortunate by giving them the opportunity to live in better conditions.

The house handover ceremony was officiated by Muhammad Azri Mohammad Fuzi, a representative of the Human Capital Division of Yayasan Perak, and witnessed by the State Assemblyman (ADUN) of Tronoh, Steven Tiw Tee Siang.

With ongoing support from the state government and other stakeholders, Yayasan Perak remains committed to improving the quality of life for those in need and building a more prosperous community.
