IPOH – 1,500 packs of bubur lambuk were distributed within an hour during a drive-through distribution programme organised by the Perak Community Specialist Hospital (PCSH) Muslim Community, in collaboration with takaful agents from Perak, yesterday.
Three large cauldrons were used to prepare the special chicken bubur lambuk, with approximately 25 kilograms of rice ensuring there was enough for distribution to the community.
The annual program saw the participation of 30 PCSH staff members and 20 takaful agents, who started cooking as early as 8 am.
More than just a Ramadan tradition, the initiative aims to foster stronger ties among the hospital, agencies, and the local community.
Among those present to distribute the bubur lambuk were PCSH Board of Visitors member Hanson Lau, Datuk Azizul Kama, and PCSH Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Nicholas Chan.
The program also received support from representatives of statutory bodies and government agencies.
