Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has announced a Special Financial Aid (BKK) of RM500 for civil servants in Grade 56 and below, which will be disbursed starting next week.
The government has also approved RM250 in Raya aid for all government pensioners, including both pensioned and non-pensioned veterans.
“Although I previously considered this matter settled in February, I recognise the dedication and improved service of our civil servants.
“Therefore, I have decided that, by next week, civil servants in Grade 56 and below will receive RM500 each, while pensioners, including veterans and non-pensioned veterans, will receive RM250,” he said.
He announced after performing Friday prayers at Sultan Abdul Samad Mosque, KLIA.
