IPOH – Renowned cosmetics entrepreneur, Datuk Seri Vida (DSV), once again demonstrated her generosity and compassion for the underprivileged by sponsoring an iftar gathering for orphans and asnaf families at MH Hotel yesterday.
The event was attended by residents of Pertubuhan Pusat Jagaan Anak-Anak Yatim Al Yassin, along with single mothers and media practitioners.
According to the home’s principal, Norizan Razali, although DSV could not attend, her sponsorship of the Iftar event meant a great deal to the orphans and asnaf families.
“Every year, she never fails to sponsor this iftar gathering. The children were delighted to savour the delicious dishes at MH Hotel.
“What made it even more special was the distribution of ‘duit raya’, bringing smiles to their faces, especially those from various challenging backgrounds,” she told Ipoh Echo/Peraktastic.
Beyond serving delectable meals, the event brought joy to those in need, reflecting DSV’s unwavering commitment to supporting the less fortunate.
