The Education Welfare and Research Foundation (EWRF) Ipoh Branch, had recently sponsored Buku Minda Books for 30 preschoolers from the B40 category at SJKT Chettiar, Ipoh, as part of their Empowering Pra Sekolah Children Programme.
Chairman of the EWRF Ipoh Branch, Mr. Sylverster Dhas and vice chairman, Mr. Prabhakaran, attended the event on 27 March, to distribute the books.
EWRF Ipoh Branch is very invested in the educational future of the youth. Earlier, at the Ipoh Royal Club, Nazrin Room, on 25 March, their members held a discussion on various topics as they gear up for 2025, such as organising an SPM Career Path, Motivation Programme Bahasa Malaysia and English Extra Classes Programme, to be set up at the EWRF Ipoh Branch Learning Centre for the Indian Students in Ipoh.
This discussion was spearheaded by Mr. Sylverster Dhas, who is also the National Vice President in addition to being the EWRF Ipoh Branch Chairman.
