IPOH: MH Hotel Ipoh continues to be a top choice for Muslims breaking fast during Ramadan, receiving an overwhelming response since the Ramadan Buffet began on March 5.

MH Hotel’s Food and Beverage Manager, Azizan @ Jebat, said the buffet has been fully booked daily, with more than 500 guests each night, forcing the hotel to turn away additional reservations due to limited capacity.

“Since the first day, we have been fully booked every day. We are truly grateful for the incredible support from our customers,” he said.

He also apologized to customers who were unable to secure reservations, as the buffet was fully booked until yesterday, the final day.

According to him, feedback from customers throughout Ramadan has been overwhelmingly positive, with many praising the quality of the dishes offered at an affordable price.

“We are committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of our dishes, along with the warm hospitality from our chefs and staff in the future,” he told Ipoh Eco/Peraktastic.

Regular patron Maria Radhi, 30, from Ipoh, shared her delightful experience, saying MH Hotel remains her family’s go-to venue every Ramadan for signature dishes such as Roasted Lamb, Mediterranean Lamb Soup, and Arabic Rice.

“The Mediterranean Lamb Soup is not just any ordinary soup; it’s rich, flavorful, with tender meat and a tantalising aroma of spices,” she said.

Additionally, MH Hotel carried out a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative by hosting 28 orphans and underprivileged children from Pertubuhan Baitul Aini Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Ipoh.

Azizan said the annual programme aims to bring joy to the less fortunate and ease their burdens in preparation for Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

“This is an annual effort by MH Hotel to ensure the less fortunate can share in the joy of Ramadan. Previously, we collaborated with the Perak State RTM Information Department for the ‘Jelajah Ramadan Bersama RTM’ programme, donating 300 packs of bubur lambuk to single mothers,” he said.

The enthusiastic response to this year’s Ramadan buffet has solidified MH Hotel’s reputation as the preferred iftar destination in Ipoh, with prices starting from as low as RM 58.80 per adult.

“Our goal is to provide an opportunity for everyone, especially those in Ipoh, to enjoy a memorable Ramadan buffet experience without the burden of high costs,” he concluded.
