TAIPING: Physical parking coupons for vehicles within the Taiping Municipal Council (MPT) area will no longer be used starting from June 1.
Instead, MPT will replace them with the use of digital coupons.
MPT President, Khairul Amir Mohamad Zubir, stated that from that date onward, MPT will no longer issue or accept physical coupons for parking space payments.
“Customers who still have remaining physical coupons can use them until their expiration date.
“Individuals or companies who wish to become digital coupon agents can apply through the Park@Perak app, following the terms and conditions set,” he said.
He made this statement during the Third Full Meeting of MPT for 2025.
Previously, starting from September 15, 2023, users in Taiping could make parking fee payments using the Park@Perak app or the Flexi Parking app.
Both the Park@Perak and Flexi Parking apps can be downloaded from the Play Store, App Store, and Huawei Gallery.
This move aims to provide the public with a more convenient, faster, and safer way to use MPT’s parking facilities.
