Washable and reusable face masks made of cloth are now available for sale at the PWW Shop at just RM10 for 3 pieces.
It is an initiative by Perak Women for Women Society (PWW) to empower women to sew and promote the 3R practice of reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Over 100 masks were donated by a kind donor who crafted them during the lockdown, while some were sewn by another woman to earn some money to feed her family with a small capital provided by PWW.
The PWW Shop is an empowerment project that sells new and pre-loved items donated by friends and supporters.
Money raised will be used to support women and children in crisis as well as to empower women.
Meanwhile, PWW is a registered non-governmental organisation that strives to improve the lives of women. PWW is run by a group of dynamic women volunteers who aim to empower women to stand with dignity and be treated with respect.
