RM1.5 billion will be allocated by the federal government as an initiative to encourage companies in hiring workers from unemployed individuals and young adults.
It was announced just now by Prime Minister, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin via the Short Term Economic Recovery Plan, which will benefit 300,000 job seekers.
RM800 monthly will be given to companies hiring those under 40 years of age for a duration of six months, while RM1,000 monthly is for companies hiring those over 40.
