Digital Perak Corporation Holdings (DPCH) assisted Perakean entrepreneurs by offering co-working spaces for ease of businesses and to facilitate two-way communications.
According to chief executive officer of DCPH, Meor Rezal Fitri Meor Redwan, the initiative is to re-spur the state’s economic sector as a recovery method post COVID-19.
“This strategic collaboration is to encourage the usage of office spaces for local small-scale entrepreneurs, freelancers, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporates,” he told reporters at an exchange ceremony of the memorandum of understanding between Digital Perak and Perak Teamwork Sdn Bhd (PTSB).
“The space preparation was helmed by companies under the state government with reasonable pricing,” Meor Rezal added.
The office spaces are located at the Innovation and Multimedia Hub, Bean Here! Coffee and Ice Cream Co. Café and Communal Workspace – The Space, Level 11, Perak Techno Trade Centre (PTTC) Building, all in Meru Raya.
The ceremony was officiated by Perak Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu remotely via livestream with digital collaboration technology.
PTSB was represented by the chief executive officer of Perak State Development Corporation, Mohd Ariff Yeop Ishak.
