Sunway Lost World Of Tambun (LWOT) unveiled another exciting anchor attraction, Dragon’s Lair Adventure, set to be the first-ever 4D cinematic water tunnel tube ride in Southeast Asia.
“We have already been awarded Southeast Asia’s longest man-made river by the Malaysia Book of Records. Now we have taken one step ahead by featuring Dragon’s Lair Adventure as the first cinematic tube ride in Southeast Asia to enhance visitors’ experience in our theme park. It will be a one-of-a-kind experience where myth meets the latest technology in exploring the adventure river,” explained Nurul Nuzairi, General Manager of Sunway LWOT, citing that the team is constantly exploring new ideas to bring up the theme park as one of the best in Asia.
Drift away in a giant rubber tube along a 660-metre adventure river and beach garden surrounded by 20- foot twin waterfalls, ancient limestone hills, greens, water rides and now with the addition of the new themed ride-through attraction. With a new original story and theme song, the latest state-of-the-art concept will take guests on a journey inside the tunnel of an unpredictable world of Dragon’s Lair Adventure, thus creating an incredible dimensional experience.
Present at the launch yesterday (August 14) was Rohayah Abdul Kadir, Senior Director (Service) of the Ipoh City Council representing Mayor Dato’ Rumaizi Baharin.
“LWOT by Sunway has been growing as one of the must-visit attractions for travellers since opening. This shows that our local product can be marketed to the world too. I hope this new product will attract even more visitors from all over Malaysia and serve as an example to other team players,” she said in the welcome address.
Cocooned by a lush tropical jungle, natural hot springs, 400 million-year-old limestone hills and 88 attractions from 10 amazing parks, Sunway LWOT makes a unique eco-adventure excursion for visitors of all ages.
