Ipoh City Council (MBI) has extended the duration for compound discounts between 30 to 50 percent until Malaysia Day (September 16).
Compounds paid within seven days after issue qualify for a 50 percent discount.
Compounds of more than seven days after issue qualify for a 40 percent discount, as long as payment is made within the next 15 days.
Compounds of more than 15 days after issue qualify for 30 percent discount, as long as payment is made within the next 30 days.
The public may head to MBI counters to pay their compounds.
For compounds of more than 30 days after issue, reduction can only be applied at MBI Law Office in Level 2 of the council building.
