This is another coffee shop that has been a around for a while and it’s popularity has not waned. Occupying two shop lots and with more than 10 stalls, one is spoilt for choice. It opens at about 6am and operates till night. Some stalls operate only for the morning and lunch sessions whilst others open only at night.
Hakka Mee is very popular; a single serving of mee with three yong tau foo (fishball, taufu, etc.) is RM3.80. The yong tau foo are 60 sen each.
Pan Mee comes with pork balls with good sambal belacan on the side – RM4.
Pork Noodles has all the usual ‘spare parts’ like, liver, intestines and stomach – RM4.80.
Curry Mee is spicy with chicken, cockles, tau fu pok and long beans – from RM3.30.
Yummy Indian Nasi Biryani with chicken curry, petai sambal, stir-fried cabbage, ikan bilis and a couple of big round pappadams – RM9.
There is also Prawn Mee – RM3.90; Jawa Mee – RM3.50; Chicken Rice – RM3.50; Chee Cheong Fun – RM3.50; Tony Crispy Pancake (apom balik): kacang – RM1.10; chicken floss – RM1.90; kaya – 1.10; Lui Cha – RM4; Roti & Tosai; and Western food.
Another popular stall is the Nyonya Kuih which starts at 9am and the kuih sells for 80 sen each.
Also available are: Pai Tee/Rojak, Caramel Custard and a Bread Corner operates from 6.30am-2pm.
