September 28 was the day where all the toastmasters came together in Tower Regency Hotel, Ipoh, for District 51, Division H Joint Installation Lunch and to observe the exciting Division H Humorous Speech and Evaluation Contest. Also present was District Public Relations Officer, Selina Chong, ACB, ALS who came to support the whole event and shared valuable experience in her Toastmasters journey.
Toastmasters is not only a place where speaking talents are found but also a place where you will meet with people from all regions and walks of life. A total of about a hundred attended the function where incoming committees were installed and outgoing committees successfully discharged. Prior to the installation lunch, wonderful performances were contributed by the beautiful ladies who spiced up the afternoon.
Following the excitement, champions of both Humorous Speech and Evaluation contests were then born. Wonderful speeches and constructive “X-ray” like analytical evaluations by the contestants made the evening a splendid one!
