According to Perak Menteri Besar, Dato’ Seri Ahmad Faizal Azumu, the initiatives are open for registration from all Perakeans, with a RM1.5 million sponsorship from RedONE.
“Both initiatives are expected to provide income opportunities for the youths, unemployed, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and those who wish to have an additional source of income,” he told reporters at the state secretariat building here today (November 18).
For the FTPNC initiative, an RM2,500 incentive will be given to entrepreneurs and businesses that are interested in becoming business partners with RedONE. An RM500 fee is needed for membership registration.
Priority is given to those who own a phone shop, run phone maintenance and/or credit top-up services, or are wanting to start a telecommunications business.
For the RPSA initiative, a RM580 incentive will be given to individuals who are interested in becoming sales advisors for RedONE. An RM100 fee is needed for membership registration.
“Not to worry; fees for both initiatives will be credited to members’ e-wallets,” Faizal mentioned.
“Registration starts tomorrow (November 19), lasting till December 31, 2020. STeP will be acting as a facilitator by preparing a list of entrepreneurs to be interviewed by RedONE for FTPNC.
“Both FTPNC and RPSA are projected to generate an additional monthly income of RM3,000 for entrepreneurs and RM1,500 for sales advisors on average,” he elaborated.
